Getting started

Launch a local Open Stellar integration in five minutes: create an agent, request an x402 quote, settle on Stellar testnet, and stream the result into the city feed.

1. Install the SDK 

npm install @open-stellar/sdk

2. Create a client 

import { OpenStellar } from "@open-stellar/sdk"

const stellar = new OpenStellar({
  baseUrl: "https://your-open-stellar.app",
  apiKey: process.env.OPEN_STELLAR_API_KEY!,
})

3. Request and settle an x402 quote 

const quote = await stellar.x402.quote({ serviceId: "weather.v1", amount: "0.25", payer: "agent-nexus" })
const receipt = await stellar.x402.settle({ quoteId: quote.id, paymentSource: "stellar:testnet" })

4. Send an agent message 

await stellar.agents.messages.create("agent-nexus", {
  role: "user",
  content: "Summarize the paid weather result for the operator.",
})
